The patrons of Dervio are Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on 29 June in the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo.
Since 1999 the town has hosted the International Animation and Comics Film Festival, while since 2015 the «Ritorno a Corenno» event has offered a nativity scene exhibition and the rediscovery of the old houses of the medieval hamlet of Corenno Plinio. The town holds the Torre di Orezia and the Castello di Corenno Plinio.
