The patron of Cavriana is Saint Blaise, celebrated on 3 February in the Church of San Biagio, with the traditional Saint Blaise fair.
In July, the Palio della Capra d'Oro (Golden Goat Palio) is raced, born in 1998 and having reached its 22nd edition in 2019; the winning district raises the Golden Goat and keeps it until the following year. The town is divided into districts, including Villaggio, in yellow, San Rocco, in light blue, and la Pieve, in indigo. The town also holds the Shrine of the Madonna della Pieve and the Castello di Cavriana.
