The patron of Val di Nizza is Saint Paul, celebrated on 25 January, to whom the Chiesa di San Paolo Apostolo is dedicated.
In the area, the leading instrument of the festivities is the Apennine piffero which, accompanied by the accordion and once by the müsa (the Apennine bagpipe), leads the dances; among the sites of the municipality, which has 655 inhabitants in the province of Pavia, is the Castello di Oramala.
