The patron of Comunanza is Saint Catherine of Alexandria, celebrated on 25 November in the Church of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria.

The town overlooks Lake Gerosa and Monte Baiardo. In the hamlet of Pracchia, every 15 August a great popular festival is held in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption.
