The patron of Lapedona is Saint Quiricus (San Quirico), celebrated on 15 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa dei Santi Giacomo e Quirico.
Since 2004 the festival «Musica in collina» has been organised; in August it is based in Piazza San Lorenzo and has been directed since the start by the violinist Walter Daga. Over the years it has hosted numerous artists of national standing, including the bass Luca Dall'Amico, the director Marco Bellussi and the pianist Leonora Armellini.
