The patron of Isola del Piano is Saint Christopher (San Cristoforo), celebrated on 25 July.
Every year, at the end of March, the short-film festival «Corto e Mangiato» takes place, on social themes and in any case linked to food; at the end of May «La Nottebio» is held, attended by organic producers from the region and the best European companies. The municipality also holds the Monastero di Montebello.
