The patroness of Piobbico is Santa Maria in Val d'Abisso, celebrated on 8 September; the municipality holds the Santuario di Santa Maria in Val d'Abisso.
On the first Sunday of September the Sagra del polentone alla carbonara (a polenta festival) and the Festa dei Brutti (the Feast of the Ugly) are held. Among the places of the village are the Castello dei Brancaleoni and the Chiesa di Santo Stefano Protomartire.
