The patron of San Costanzo, the town that bears his name, is Saint Constantius, celebrated on 15 January in the Church of Santi Cristoforo e Costanzo.
In the same church, during Holy Week, the wooden Machina del Monte Calvario is set up, re-enacting the Passion and death of Our Lord; on Good Friday evening, a striking procession unfolds, the legacy of an age-old tradition, with the effigy of the Dead Christ laid on a bier with four lamps, followed by the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows. The century-old Sagra Polentara, which reached its 197th edition in March 2013, is held every year in two forms, a winter one in March and a summer one in July.
