Saints Peter and Paul, patrons of a village born around an old Benedictine monastery
📅 Every year, on 29 June
San Pietro Avellana celebrates Saints Peter and Paul on 29 June; the village grew up around a fortified Benedictine monastery whose church still holds, in a crypt, the body of Saint Amicus, and it is today one of Italy's National Truffle Towns.
