The patroness of Cannero Riviera is the Madonna del Carmine, celebrated on the second Monday of July.
The municipality also holds the Museo etnografico e della spazzola, the Cappella Santa Maria, the Chiesa di San Rocco, the Oratorio di San Giuseppe and the Chiesa di San Bernardo. The calendar includes the Carnevale Ambrosiano «dei Magnan» (Ambrosian carnival of the Magnan), Agrumi a Cannero Riviera (citrus fruit festival), the Mostra della Camelia (camellia show), the «Lunedì luglio in blues» (Monday July blues concerts), the Ferragosto Cannerese and the concerts of the Corpo Filarmonico (philharmonic band).
