Casamassima

Tracing its legendary origins to a Roman encampment, Casamassima took shape as a permanent settlement between the seventh and eighth centuries. Far from the typical white-stone architecture of the Bari province, this inland community of 19,246 is widely known throughout Apulia as "The Blue Town" due to the distinct color of its historic facades.
