The patron saint of Valenzano is Saint Roch, celebrated on 16 August.
On Good Friday, the impressive Procession of the Mysteries is held, which since 2022 has included around 52 statue groups, among them the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Crucified Christ, venerated for centuries for a historic miracle and used until the 18th century precisely in the Good Friday procession, and the wooden Dead Christ, attributed to Pier Paolo Pica or Pietro Surgente and dated to the late 18th century, donated in 1976 by a local family. In the church of Santa Maria di San Luca, the embroidered statue of Saint Rita of Cascia is also held, whose feast is celebrated on 22 May with a procession. The town also holds the church of Ognissanti and the Martucci Baronial Castle.
