The patron saints of Ceglie Messapica are Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on 13 June, Saint Anne, on 26 July, and Saint Roch, on 16 August.
Among the town's minor feasts is that of Saint Anthony Abbot, called in local dialect «San Antonio di Vienna», on 17 January. In the church of San Rocco, raised to a parish in March 1855, the 18th-century statues of the Mysteries were kept between November 1968 and September 2016, carried in procession on Good Friday. The town also holds the Collegiate church of Santa Maria Assunta and the Abbey of Sant'Anna, built on the remains of a pagan temple.
