The patron saint of San Marco in Lamis is Saint Mark the Evangelist, celebrated on 25 April. The feast is preceded by nine days of prayer animated by religious associations, confraternities and parish communities, at the town's mother church.
The religious feast is joined by a civic one, with a fair held in the town centre. San Marco in Lamis is known above all for its traditional fracchie procession, a religious event the town holds as one of its most cherished traditions. The town also holds the Sanctuary of San Matteo Apostolo and the Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Stignano.
