The patron of Sogliano Cavour is Saint Lawrence, celebrated from 9 to 11 August in the Church of San Lorenzo Martire.
In the last ten days of August, the Sagra delle friseddhe, purpette e vinu (dry bread rings, meatballs and wine) is held, and also in August the Notte della Taranta livens up the town. On 21 June, Saint Aloysius is also celebrated. The town also holds the Parco della Poesia and the Falcone e Borsellino park.
