The patron saint of Terralba is Saint Peter, celebrated on 29 June.
On the night between 16 and 17 January, as in other parts of Italy, it is tradition to celebrate by burning bonfires of brushwood dedicated to Saint Anthony, patron of fire. On 8 August, instead, the celebrations of Saint Cyriacus are held, with a procession carrying the smaller of the two statues of the saint kept in the town. Carnival is characterised by allegorical floats coming from nearby towns, with zeppole distributed by the Pro Loco during «su mattisi de coa», Shrove Tuesday. The town also holds the Church of Gesù Maestro and the Torre di Marceddì.
