Zerfaliu's main festival is that of Gesù Trasfigurato (Jesus Transfigured), the patron (Santu Domini), organised by the Comitato dei cinquantenni (committee of the fifty-year-olds): it is held on 6 August but is also celebrated on the evening of the 5th. The eve of 6 August is called «S'Arrassignu» and the procession after mass is accompanied by a song in Sardinian called «Coggius».
The village's second festival, the second most important, is dedicated to San Pio, organised by the Comitato dei quarantenni (committee of the forty-year-olds), and is celebrated on 22 and 23 September; the third is the «Sagra degli agrumi» (citrus festival), held every year between February and March to promote the area's typical product.
