In Erula the patron is given as the Immaculate Heart of Mary, celebrated on 31 May.
The small village, on the edge of the Anglona, is made up of many families who choose to live quietly in their own countryside; its territory holds the churches of San Giovanni Battista and San Giuseppe, the Nuraghe Erula, the Nuraghe Puligosu, the Nuraghe Pubattu and the Tomba dei Giganti Giagone (Giants' Tomb).
