The patron of Osilo is the Immaculate Conception, celebrated on 8 December in the Church of the Immacolata Concezione.
On 12 August, the Corsa all'anello is held, a very popular horseback skill competition, not to be confused with the Sartiglia: the rider, dressed in the traditional costume of one of the island's towns, is launched at a gallop. Since the 1990s, the town administration has worked to give it importance and fame. The town also holds the Nuraghe Caudes and the Church of San Lorenzo.
