The patroness of Pace del Mela is the Madonna della Visitazione, celebrated on 2 July: it is the municipality's most important religious feast, first attested as early as 1706 by an account of the expenses incurred for its celebration. Setting out from the mother church of Santa Maria della Visitazione, the wooden group of the Visitation, made in 1870 by the Messina sculptor Michele Cangeri, is carried in procession through the town's streets.
On the second-to-last Sunday of August, instead, the feast of the Madonna del Rosario is held in the hamlet of Giammoro, including, besides the procession and other religious events, a series of civic events that draw many visitors. Pace del Mela also preserves the church of Maria Santissima del Rosario and that of Santa Maria dell'Abbondanza.
