The patron of Vallarsa is Saint Vigilius, celebrated on 26 June. Besides the sagre and patronal feasts celebrated in the hamlets throughout the year, sometimes with religious events only and in other cases with real village festivals, a few traditional events take place in the valley.
The Fiera di San Luca, on the Sunday closest to 18 October, is held at Parrocchia and is the transposition of an ancient fair for the exchange and sale of livestock and farm produce. The Ganzega del Bosco has been held at Camposilvano since 1989, usually on the first weekend of August, with a contest of woodland-work skills. In August, for four days, «Tra le rocce e il cielo», the festival of mountain life lived with awareness, is also held.
