The patron saints of Signa are Saint John the Baptist and Blessed Giovanna da Signa, celebrated on 24 June in the Church of San Giovanni Battista.
The town is known for its own Corteo Storico, born from the will of some local citizens in the second half of the 20th century with the intention of re-enacting the medieval customs and costumes that had marked the town's history; alongside the procession, the Giuseppe Verdi Philharmonic of Signa is also active. The municipal territory also holds the Pieve di San Lorenzo and the Church of Santa Maria in Castello, where Lombard-era burial tombs were found.
