The patron saint of Cecina is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March in the Church of Saints Joseph and Leopold, which bears his name alongside that of Grand Duke Leopold of Tuscany, to whom the town owes much of its origin tied to the reclamation of the Maremma.
The municipal territory also holds the church of Sant'Antonio and the remains of the Roman villa of San Vincenzino. Among the town's places of interest are also the Museum of Life and Work of the Northern Maremma and the Fountain of the Thirsty Maremma, which symbolically recalls the historic aridity of this land before the great land reclamation works.
