The patron of Filattiera is Saint Stephen, celebrated on 26 December in the Pieve di Santo Stefano.
On 16 January comes the feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot, with a religious service, a procession and bonfires lit in the various localities of the town, Centro storico, Dorbola and Volpino, which compete against each other. The last weekend of June, within the walls of the historic centre, comes the Festa della Fame e della Sete, which marked its twentieth anniversary in 2018. The town holds the Castello di Rocca Sigillina and the Church of San Giovanni Battista.
