The patron of Carmignano is the Archangel Michael, celebrated on 29 September.
Since 1937 the feast has lasted three days, with the village's four districts, White, Yellow, Green and Sky-blue, competing with street theatre and allegorical floats, ending with the donkey Palio in the square.
