The patrons of Fontanelle are Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on 29 June with the Sagra dei Santi Pietro e Paolo.
In July, the district Palio is held in Lutrano, which since 2006 has pitted the districts of Lutrano, Fontanelle, Vallonto and Fontanellette-Santa Maria del Palù against each other. Between July and August, the Vallonto wine feast is held, and between August and September, the Fontanellette feast; on the last Sunday of August, the «Quattro passi par Lutran» march is also held. The town also holds Villa Marcello.
