The patron saint of Peschiera del Garda is Saint Martin, celebrated on 11 November in the Parish Church of San Martino Vescovo, with shows, food stalls, the Porta Brescia tavern and the Venetian rowing regatta «Palio di San Martino».
The Palio delle mura, a Venetian rowing race around the fortress walls, and the Regata delle Bisse, organised by the Lega Bisse del Garda between July and August with the traditional Venetian rowing boats, enliven the town's summer, together with the Peschiera City Sailing Trophy. The town also holds the Fortress of Peschiera and the Church of San Benedetto.
