The patron saint of Valeggio sul Mincio is Saint George, celebrated on 23 April.
The third Tuesday of June hosts the Festa del Nodo d'Amore: a table stretches across the entire 650-metre Visconti bridge, where the famous Valeggio tortellini are served to over four thousand diners. The first weekend of July instead brings the Antica fiera di Valeggio, dedicated to Saint Peter, with ballroom-dance orchestras, the districts' palio and a crafts and agriculture exhibition. The town holds the Church of San Pietro Apostolo and Villa Sigurtà, with its renowned garden park.
