To remember its patron saint, Saint Pancras the Bishop, Zagarise organises three days of celebrations every year, from 7 to 9 July, with civil and religious events. A fair is set up in the streets of the village and the evening closes with fireworks.
Throughout the summer the village is enlivened by concerts, shows and sagre, with the peak day on 8 August, the festa del Borgo; the sagre are those of wild boar, of pitta fritta, of mushrooms (September), of chestnuts (late October) and of olive oil (November-December). In the parish of Santa Maria Assunta a small museum and picture gallery of sacred art, the «Silvestro Frangipane», has been set up.
