The patron of Dipignano is Saint Nicholas of Bari, celebrated on 6 December in the church named after him.
Among the town's most cherished feasts is the Sagra del Polentone, held every two years in September: the tradition dates back to a 16th-century event linked to a group of coppersmiths, called «quadarari» in the local dialect, a historic trade of the town. The town also holds the Shrine-Basilica of the Madonna della Catena and two branches of the Copper and Ancient Crafts Museum, in Dipignano and in Tessano.
