The patron of Delianuova is Saint Nicholas the Bishop, celebrated on 6 December in the Church of San Nicola Vescovo.
The town, at the edge of the Aspromonte National Park, has a very rich calendar of religious feasts: among these, the most important is the feast of Maria Santissima Assunta, celebrated on 15 August with a solemn procession of the statue of the Virgin through the town's streets. Throughout the year the feast of Saint Joseph on 19 March and that of Saint Elijah on the last Sunday of July also follow. The town also holds the Church of Maria Santissima Assunta and Pietra Salva.
