The patron saint of Macerata Campania is Saint Martin, bishop of Tours, celebrated on 11 November in the Church of San Martino Vescovo.
The most important and beloved feast for the people of Macerata is, however, that dedicated to Saint Anthony Abbot, better known as Sant'Antuono, held every year on 17 January and involving the whole comune. In 2012, the town council officially recognised the «Festa di Sant'Antuono» and the cultural expressions linked to it. The town also holds the Church of the Crocifisso.
