Pope Saint Sylvester and the Blueberry Festival

The patron of Fanano is Pope Saint Sylvester, celebrated on 31 December in the Church of San Silvestro Papa.

Every August, the Festa del Mirtillo is held, celebrating the Apennine bilberry, one of the town's typical products, with the participation of local and non-local producers. Every two years, between Christmas and Epiphany, the Living Nativity is also held, with the town decorated in late-19th-century style. The town also holds the Museo dei Monti della Riva and the Torre dei Balestri.
