The patron of Stregna is Saint Paul, celebrated on the feast of his conversion on 25 January, to whom the Chiesa di San Paolo Apostolo is dedicated.
Among the events of this municipality of 398 inhabitants are the kries, the Saint John's bonfire lit on the night of 23 June at Tribil Superiore, the religious feast of the Rožinca on 15 August at Cernetig and, on the third Sunday of October, the «Burnjak», the chestnut festival.
