On 29 August, in honour of the patronal feast of San Giovanni Battista (Saint John the Baptist), Roviano holds in the evening the 'panarda', a dinner (pasta and beans) offered to the townspeople by the confraternity of San Giovanni.
On Good Friday the traditional procession takes place through the streets of the historic centre, with funeral marches and the rumble of the chains that two men, carrying heavy crosses, wear on their feet; on 13 June, for Sant'Antonio da Padova, there is the procession with distribution of blessed bread; on 15 August the Festa della Madonna dell'Assunta ends with the traditional inchinata (bow). The municipality also holds the Castello di Roviano, the Torre di Roviano and the polygonal walls.
