The patron of Palosco is Saint Lawrence, celebrated on 10 August in the Church of San Lorenzo Martire.
In Palosco and the neighbouring town of Martinengo, scenes from Ermanno Olmi's film The Tree of Wooden Clogs were filmed, winner of the Palme d'Or for best film at the 1978 Cannes Film Festival: a testimony to the area's rural past. On 24 September, the Festa della Torre is also held, in the hamlet of Torre Passeri, dedicated to the Madonna della Mercede, rooted in a distant past. The town also holds the Torre di Enrico IV.
