Saint Apollonia and the Horse Festival
📅 Every year, on 9 February, with the burning of the balloon
Asso celebrates Saint Apollonia on 9 February, with the burning of the balloon: although Saint John the Baptist is the town's formal patron, this is the more deeply felt celebration. Every first Saturday of October, the Horse Festival is held.
