The patrons of Carimate are the Blessed Virgin Immaculate and Saint George, co-patron, celebrated on 13 June in the Church of San Giorgio e dell'Immacolata Concezione.
On 8 September, the Feast of the Madonna dell'albero is held instead, with a Marian procession through the town's streets to the Shrine of the Madonna dell'Albero. The town also holds the Castello di Carimate and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta.
