Known simply as Cusano until 1862, and later as Cusano sul Seveso, this municipality officially adopted its current name in 1914. Today, the town is home to 18,905 residents.
Located in the northern metropolitan area, the center sits about 13 kilometers from Milan. It shares immediate borders with Paderno Dugnano, Cinisello Balsamo, Cormano, and Bresso, forming a continuous suburban network.
