The patron saint of Cusano Milanino is Saint Martin, celebrated on 11 November in the parish church of San Martino e l'Immacolata.
The town was the birthplace, on 17 March 1939, of Giovanni Trapattoni, a football coach generally considered the most representative Italian coach of the post-war era: he is the most successful Italian coach at club level, with a total of ten national trophies won in four different countries. The municipal territory also holds the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Cintura and Palazzo Omodei.
