The patron of Romagnese is Saint Lawrence (san Lorenzo), celebrated on 10 August; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Lorenzo.
Romagnese is the only village to have preserved an Easter cycle in the territory of the Quattro province: it begins on Maundy Thursday with a procession following an anonymous hooded penitent carrying a wooden cross, from the parish church to the oratory of Casa Picchi; on Good Friday bonfires are lit in the hamlets in conjunction with the procession carrying the dead Christ through the streets of the main village; on the evening of Holy Saturday a rite takes place that takes the curious name «galina grisa» from the opening verse of the ritual song.
