The patron of Sant'Alessio con Vialone is Saint Alexis (Sant'Alessio), celebrated on 17 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di Sant'Alessio.
In the first days of September every year the Festa del Riso Vialone (Vialone Rice Festival) is held, celebrating the discovery of Vialone rice, in 1904, with cultural events such as exhibitions and conferences. The municipality also holds the Castello di Sant'Alessio con Vialone and the Garzaia di Porta Chiossa.
