The patroness of Sartirana Lomellina is Santa Maria del Carmelo (Our Lady of Mount Carmel), celebrated on 16 July; in July, throughout the week of the 16th, the «Dì d'la festa» takes place.
The town's most important event is the Sagra della Rana (frog festival), on the first weekend of September, when people crowd the summer garden to taste the typical batrachian prepared in various ways. In the week before Christmas the traditional «Concerto di Natale per la pace» is held. The municipality also holds the Castello di Sartirana and the parish Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta.
