The patron of Montalto delle Marche is Saint Vitus the Martyr, celebrated on 15 June with numerous events, including sports tournaments, exhibitions, book presentations and concerts.
The third weekend of July brings the Casserata, a food and folk festival. The town is also home to the «La Cordata» choir, alpine and popular in inspiration, founded in 1984, which since 1988 has organized the Festival degli Appennini, dedicated to the best of popular choral music. The town holds the Musei Sistini, the Concattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta and Palazzo Sacconi.
