The patrons of Grottazzolina are Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Saint Petronilla, celebrated on the first Sunday of June and the following Monday, at the close of a three-day feast.
On the eve of the feast, the image of the Virgin, enclosed in a richly carved and gilded radiating wooden frame, is carried in a solemn and crowded procession to the Church of the Santissimo Sacramento. The town also holds the Teatro Ermete Novelli.
