The patron of Falerone is Saint Fortunatus of Todi, celebrated on 1 June with a great feast and a procession accompanied by the town band «Città di Falerone». The saint, known for the many miracles performed in town, according to some accounts replaced the original patron Saint Fortunatus of Montefalco in the 15th century.
In the second week of August, the «Nzegna» is celebrated: the town's eight districts build allegorical carts made only of wheat and its derivatives. The town also holds the Roman theatre and amphitheatre of Falerio Picenus, and the Church of San Giovanni Battista.
