The patron of Montefano is Saint Donatus, celebrated on 7 August in the Collegiate Church of San Donato.
Inside it is kept the «Cataletto» (funeral bier), carried in procession on Good Friday evening: the collegiate church is the seat of the Confraternity of Death, the Holy Trinity, Saint Anthony the Abbot and Saint Vincent Ferrer, and holds its processional vestments. The town also holds the Teatro La Rondinella and the Fibonacci Park.
