The patron of Melazzo is San Bartolomeo: the patronal feast, with a raviolata (ravioli feast), is held on 24 August.
In April the Sagra dello Stoccafisso takes place, during which a singular contest is held, consisting of throwing a stockfish along the road that circles the medieval castle: the winning pair is the one that completes the course with the fewest throws. The municipality also holds Castel Moncrescente, the Chiesa di San Felice and the Parco di Villa Scati.
