The patron of Margarita is San Leone Magno, celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
The municipality also holds the Chiesa di Santa Margherita, the Torre Civica, the Castello dei Conti Solaro della Margarita and the Cappella di San Bernardo. On the fourth Sunday of October the Sagra dël còj (savoy cabbage festival) is held in the characteristic historic centre of the village (called «Il Ghetto» or «Ricetto» by the locals), attracting numerous traders and visitors from Piedmont and Liguria. The first edition took place in 2004.
