Piasco has the Victor Salvi harp museum: the first and only museum of harps in the world, with more than a hundred instruments telling three centuries of history and taste — from mid-eighteenth-century floral to Napoleonic neoclassicism, from romantic gothic to art deco. Among them is a harp built by Rodolfo Salvi, Victor's father, which his son tracked down in Africa.
The town lies in the lower Varaita valley and keeps the Porporato castle, the chapel of Santa Brigida with its Romanesque apse, the chapel of San Rocco with frescoes of 1534 and a fifteenth-century bell tower.
